Restylane® is a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler used to add volume to facial tissues. This results in smoother, younger looking skin. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance found in the human body and skin. Restylane® was the first hyaluronic acid to get FDA approval for injection into sub-dermal facial tissues. Restylane® is injected directly into the target area and comes with little to no discomfort.

Radiesse® uses calcium based microspheres to correct wrinkles, fine lines, and folds in the face and hands. These microspheres stimulate collagen production, leading to healthier, smoother, younger looking skin. Radiesse® is made from calcium hydroxyapatite, a mineral found in human teeth and bones. After stimulating collagen production, the calcium and the gel used to suspend the calcium are absorbed by the body and naturally expelled. Radiesse® is injected directly into the target area with little to no pain and no downtime is required.

Although you might be hesitant to inject your body with something, these products have all been tested and Health Canada/FDA approved and are expertly administered by one of our highly trained physicians.

These simple injections are a quick procedure, only between 15–30 minutes.

At your consultation visit we will discuss what results you would like to see and how we are going to get you there. Prior to injection, a topical numbing cream may be applied to the target area, ensuring your comfort throughout the injection process. Small amounts of the product are then administered to the target area. You will then have an opportunity to talk about the results and we can make small adjustments until you are satisfied. The process is easy, safe, and relatively painless.
